Sometimes Losing is Winning – A look at changes and challenges to connect clients to consumers with Dani Longoria
With today’s fast-moving consumer, agency clients, as well as direct clients, are looking for an omnichannel world. Internally and externally, we’ve evolved to a pace that has no boundaries. In the conversation, we will identify what it looks like from our internal-facing clients (aka our team members) and discuss the external conversation (aka clients) with covering what is expected of us. The expectations of what we can do and how we do it has changed. We’ll take a peek at a case study where losing an account meant we learned everything.
Dani has served in the media space since the ‘90s, executing the delivery of strong performing campaigns in radio, television, newspaper, direct mail, and digital. Currently, she oversees the Southwest Region for Lee Enterprises, which makes up five business units alongside her very own boutique digital agency team to serve the division. Every day is a great day to work with business owners, solve key objectives, and create strategies to plug into their most desired consumer.
Dani resides in Tucson, Arizona, along with her husband, Dr. Brian Burnett. They share four sons, Andrew, Ethan, Logan, and Pierce. In her downtime, she focuses on unplugging in a good book or cooking in the kitchen. Dani also serves on the American Advertising Federation of Tucson board, focusing on education and providing scholarships for the upcoming media leaders of tomorrow.
Wednesday, November 10 (noon – 1 p.m.)
Attention Employees! – Communicating with a distanced, fragmented workforce with Kristen Turley
For Magellan Midstream Partners, ensuring that a workforce of more than 1,700 people spread across 22 states is aware of what is happening in our rapidly changing business is mission critical. Kristen Turley, APR, serves as Manager, Internal Communications and Web Content for Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., an oil transportation and storage company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has more than 20 years of experience in agency and corporate roles at various companies before joining Magellan.
