Two years ago, Kristin Powers moved to Tulsa to ensure a successful PGA event. Her work with the 2021 PGA Senior Championship and the upcoming 2022 PGA Championship gives her an insight into Tulsa and the PGA’s impact on the city.
Kristin will provide an overview of the value of being involved with the PGA and then answer attendee questions in a Q&A session on leveraging this event to highlight their marketing and communication goals.

About Kristin Powers:
Kristin Powers serves as the Corporate Hospitality Sales Manager for the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is responsible for all corporate and premium revenue generation, client servicing and executing a Championship week corporate program that includes more than 150 local and national companies. During that week, she will oversee 15 staff, 50 interns and over 150 vendors to deliver a one of a kind entertainment experience for clients and their key stakeholders/prospects/employees/etc.
The 2022 PGA Championship is the 3rd PGA of America Championship Kristin has worked on. Her previous championships include: Rochester, New York (2019 SrPGA) and Tulsa, Oklahoma (2021 SrPGA).
Kristin also worked for the PGA as an intern at the 2016 PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey. Powers is a native of Rochester, New York and was recruited by the The University of North Carolina at Greensboro to play golf. While playing golf for UNCG she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies.
